murdock: last 12 songs

these are, as stated in the header, the last 12 songs staten island's very own force of nature known as murdock recorded (so far, im not sure if they are done as a band or not....ill have to ask frank about that) anyways these 12  songs are alot more straight forward than their earlier, noisier stuff, but its still ferocious and pulverizing nonetheless. powerful, memorable shit from one of the best bands to do it......

  2. hey! thanks for the visit! murdock have recorded tons of stuff but they can never seem to find anyone to release it (crazy, i know) they recorded a split lp with devola, split 7"s with yaphet kotto, yum yum tree, the sutek conspiracy and her little sisters motherless....the yaphet kotto split never came out, im not sure weather it was a label problem or what, it was supposed to come out on push/pull records.........the split lp with devola might have actually come out on double decker records.....the splits with yum yum tree and sutek conspiracy definatly exist and can be bought from push/pull records and ed walters records specifically...although im not sure if either of those labels are active anymore.........the split with her little sisters motherless was a very limited release i think, ive never seen one but it apparently does exist.....murdock also recorded a "7 on goldtooth records, this is probably the one record they did that should be at least somewhat readily available from most distros.......they also had a cd out on citylights records which wasthe first thing this band recorded back in 1996....i had a copy myself.....but im betting its long OOP.........they recorded 2 lps worth of material in 2003 and 2006 (the 2006 material is in this post) but apparently they had no label to release it........anyways ill try to get frank, their singer to post and fill you in better!
